The patty melt was hot and delicious. Basket of fries is a HUGE order. The porkroll and cheese with homefries so good as week.

I come down here 2x a year for work and such. This place is always a go to for breakfast. Hot cakes are amazing and they always pack it to go very well so nothing is missing or spilling out. Very friendly staff. 10/10

I stayed at the Tropicana and I hated my experience at the hotel, but: The Gilchrist was the BEST part! I got the #2 Hungry Man with blueberry pancakes and it was PHENOMENAL! They cooked everything to my specifications and the pancakes were perfection. It was so good that I had to go in person the next morning to get the full experience and they were warm and gracious when I arrived about 30 minutes before they closed and the food came out in the blink of an eye. I highly recommend The Gilchrist!

Food looked plain. Threw the cheese on the Italian sausage was shriveled up and brunt. The potatoes was thrown everywhere. Pancake was flat flat and it can with only one. No syrup was added to the bag.

The sweet Italian sausage was burnt. The potatoes had zero flavor like they cut up the potatoes and boiled them. Even the bacon taste and look like pre cooked ready to eat bacon. The pancakes were good and the only thing i ate fully. This is not the Gilchrist I used to eat. Very disappointed
