Best breakfast in Lansing! Not only is the breakfast really good, you get a lot of food for your money. My husband and I usually order the Diesel and the Bypass, and always have leftovers for later. We both highly recommend!

We were looking forward to trying this place because of how hyped it is, but now I’m beginning to question what this city defines as "good food". Sausage was very tough, like leather. Potatoes were hard. Grilled cheese tasted burnt. Warm bread being passed as toast. $16 for two dry pancakes with no syrup??? Can't say I recommend this place at all.

The Big Country burrito was delicious and hearty, featuring fried chicken, bacon, and cheddar, all smothered in rich sausage gravy and served with fried potatoes that almost had the comforting texture of grits. The portion size was generous—perfect for one person—and it was so filling that I didn’t feel hungry for hours afterward. It arrived fresh and hot, which made the first bite especially satisfying.
The flavor combination worked wonderfully together, like a classic country breakfast rolled into one warm, satisfying bundle. However, the burrito didn’t follow my request for extra spice, which was disappointing. A little heat would have added that extra kick to elevate the flavor even more.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the diner’s quality and value for the price. The meal was flavorful and well-prepared, though closer attention to customer instructions would make the experience perfect. I would definitely order from here again.

Bourbon Street was delicious the side of potatoes were a little cold but they were seasoned perfectly. Roscoe was out of stock so I didn't get to try that. For me the portion was perfect. I would definitely order again.

This is the best restaurant in town. At this point we've dined in three times and doordashed another three, and every time it is absolutely delicious. We were craving it so bad last night we placed an order at 5 am so we could get it as soon as they opened. My husband always gets the Big Country and raves about the gravy, while my new regular is the Hippie Hangover and similarly rave about the mushroom gravy. Coming from GR, we've struggled to find really good food around here, but Good Truckin' Diner absolutely checks all the boxes.
