• 16/12/24Arancini was good but not quite what I was expecting. It was a single shred of pork a pinch of beef and one little nodule of cheese engulfed in the risotto. Wish the filling was a little more forward but taste overall was good. The Brodetto Triestina seafood stew was very good, bit too salty (and I like salt) but eating it with the croustini it came with helped balance it all out

• 9/4/26This food is primo Italian cuisine. Quite delicious and savory. Our birthday party dinner was highly appreciated thanks to such lovely and epicurean presentations of traditional Italian And New American delights from this company. The prosciutto and cheese plates were very delicious ,  the salad vegetables dressings very very delectable. they even brought us some delightful sourdough bread.  Thanks again for everything and we will keep you on the register of great food in the Philadelphia area.

• 2/8/25This is the first review I've ever left so hopefully that provides the context here. I ordered a Pappardelle al Ragu Aquilano and Buffal Mozzarellao caprese. I got something entirely different than the caprese, and the ragu was a laughably small serving. That said, the most offensive part of this meal was the lack of meat in the ragu. When you factor in the price, this was the most disappointing meal I've had this year. Brutal all around.

• 25/6/25Absolutely delicious! The Buffalo Mozzarella with the Cauliflower Caponata was divine. The Carcioffi Fritti was a delight! The crab cake with the mascarpone was incredible but super rich. Love this place!

• 20/3/23I must say, Gran Caffe L'Aquila is BY FAR the #1 Italian restaurant in Philadelphia. Especially for take out - they never cease to amaze me in their ability to produce high quality products, with high quality ingredients, with fair pricing - EVERY SINGLE TIME. Gran Caffe L'Aquila, THANK YOU so much for everything!!
