This is the best Indian food I've had recently. I've been 4 times i n the past month and have delighted in the recommendations by our waiter/owner "Sam" (not his Indian name, but the one he allows for slow-to-catch -on Americans) have always been on point. Be careful, Southern Indian food is very spicy, so I would recommend asking for mild, even for Louisiana natives. I love the seasoning of the South Indian dishes, though. They may be one of the few, if not the only restaurant in BR serving them. I found the cream dishes a little sweet for my tastes, but I don't each much sugar, so others may appreciate. Great Indian drinks and N'aan. Lots of vegetarian dishes.

My favorite Indian restaurant in town! The Gunpowder Chicken Biryani is a hit; I get it every time. I've also tried the Salt & pepper Wings which are amazing. Lastly, the Chilly Shrimp is spectacular. I order everything as Indian spicy so it's a bit spicy but so flavorful
Portions are huge and the food is so fresh and hot despite long delivery times

Very careful packaging and the prices were a great value for the serving sizes. We have leftovers! Very flavorful, everything was fresh, and a wide variety of different authentic Indian dishes. Most Indian restaurants I've visited around the US don't offer this many options. Order "regular" spice level to have a good idea of how the dishes should taste-- medium is a bit closer but you will definitely feel a little burn in your mouth, this level was perfect for me. If you're unfamiliar try "regular" for starters. We will be ordering from here frequently!

Ordered from here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Always ready timely with great service and makes for multiple meals. I could eat my weight in the garlic naan.

1. Information about the dish did not say it came with rice. Ift had, I would not have ordered extra rice.So I had enough rice for five people.I don't have money to waste.
2. Goat Curry should have been called Goat Bone Curry with meat sauce, Rice & Naan. I'm all for using bone for flavor, but I wanted goat meat. One Bone had no meat at all.
