Best value ever! The beef bowl tasted so good. The beef was very tender and juicy. The size is great- lasted me for 2 meals. Came with a very delicious salad. Will be my regular lunch-to-go restaurant.

Fantastic 3 course entrees! Miso soup, salad, and incredible Beef Sukiyaki Fried Rice Bowl! Excellent Takoyaki & Japanese Fried Chicken Karaage! Large amount of food makes it an wonderful value for what you pay! Highly recommended!

I would recommend just dining in. I love Gyu-Kaku but ordering just ruined it. The meat was super dry. Honestly it was like an overpriced waba grill.

I got the Gyu-Combo: 3 Choice of Protein to try, & it is excellent. I chose the short ribs with the garlic soy sesame sauce, the spicy pork with the spicy sauce & the Yakishabu beef with the house miso sauce. It arrived over rice with miso soup & a side salad... I love miso soup . The 3 meats were delicious & I enjoyed all the marinades I chose as well. I recommend this combo.

I used to get this item from the Santa Monica location until they closed. I tried getting it here, and the portion was incredibly skimpy. It felt like half an order (at most). Really unfortunate because I love the dish. But I won't be ordering it from this location again.
