Their kolaches are equally as good as Shipley's, but they have more options. I got three flavors more than I normally would at Shipley's and all were good. Especially the brisket kolaches! I got 7 for the same price 4 would've cost me at Shipley's. Definitely worth trying. I will be buying again!!!

The Kountry Boys Sausage was good but the skin for it is tough and wouldn't break, so that made it less appetizing for me. & it was also smaller than I expected for the price. The Apple Juice was nice and cold, but overpriced as well & the Filled Donut wasn't what I expected but was still delicious and well made but cold. The Beef Brisket Kolache was mostly bread to the meat ratio and cold but the flavor once I got to the meat was pretty good.

Omg this place is amazing! Everything from the vanilla cappuccino to their spicy boudain kolache and the red velvet donut was sooo good and fresh. Sorry not sorry Shipley's but H-Town donuts is where it's at!

The bacon is perfectly crispy, all the food is fresh and hot and delicious. Generous portions and not expensive. Always consistent! Will order again.

They added so much more donut holes than I expected! The Oreo pieces and cream is the perfect balance between crunchy (Oreo crumbles), creamy/silky (vanilla frosting and bits of oreo), and soft (the donut base)! Personally, I love the Dulce de Leche filled donut the best because of--- obviously--- their filling! It was very concentrated in the middle of the donut, but that is completely fine; it is part of the fun experience of the smooth Dulce de Leche! Overall, H-Town Donuts's donuts does have soft and pillowy structure, various flavors (ones with crumble toppings especially) that are well balanced, and does not have that oily aftertaste! I can guarantee that I will be ordering from this place again!
