Ham Hung Restaurant absolutely delivered again. The Sam Gye Tang was rich, clean, and deeply comforting - the broth had that perfect balance of savory depth without being heavy, and the chicken was tender all the way through. The portion was generous, and it tasted exactly like the kind of traditional Korean home‑style cooking that’s hard to find in LA.

The Dried Pollack Soup was another standout. Light but flavorful, with that signature pollack aroma and a broth that warms you instantly. It’s the kind of dish that feels restorative, and they executed it perfectly.

Service was quick, the food came out piping hot, and everything tasted fresh. If you’re craving authentic Korean soups done right, Ham Hung is one of the few places that still gets it exactly right.

I'm Korean myself and Ham Hung Restaurant delivered one of the best Korean catering meals I’ve had in Los Angeles. The flavors were bold, clean, and deeply comforting, exactly what you want from classic Korean soups.

Spicy Beef and Vegetables Soup (Yukgaejang)
This was outstanding. The broth had that perfect balance of heat and richness, with tender beef and vegetables that tasted incredibly fresh. The portion was generous, and the spice level was satisfying without overwhelming the flavor. I would absolutely order this again.

Spicy Beef Soup (Galbitang) (GF)
The Galbitang was equally impressive, clear, savory broth with premium beef short rib that was fall‑apart tender. You can tell they use high‑quality ingredients, and the gluten‑free option is a huge plus. It’s the kind of soup that feels restorative.

Haemul Pajeon
Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with seafood. Not greasy, not heavy, just really well executed.

Everything arrived neatly packaged, still hot, and clearly prepared with care. Portions were large enough for multiple meals, and the freshness stood out across all dishes.

Good quality at a good price with nice portions. Bibim Bop 비빔밥 special is generous and a really good deal. Daeji Dwaeji Bulgogi (Pork BBQ) 돼지 불고기 is solid as well.

The dwehji Dwaeji Galbijjim (Spicy Pork Spare Rib) 돼지갈비찜 is our second time getting it because it's THAT good. The spicy sauce is so flavorful and the meat just falls right off the bone. For the price, the portion is huge. I think there were about 4-5 pieces of ribs. The beef mu kuk 소고기 무국 was also very good and it was cheaper than expected. Perfect for hangovers or when you're feeling under the weather.

The Mul Naengmyeon 물냉면 was great and I think I could have just eaten that as a meal. I wanted to try the Gamjajeon감자전 and it was nice and was a large portion. I also ordered the extra Extra Banchan 반찬추가 for $3 and it was very basic and didn't feel it was worth the extra fee (bean sprouts, sad serving of cole slaw, and some kimchi and kkakdugi).
