It was so good I bought yesterday and today. The tenders were flavorful and juicy. The chips were on point. I was full before I even finished my serving. The banana pudding definitely has crack in it. It feels illegal to be so good. Don't get me started on the magoo sauce.. soooo good. It's disrespectful to compare Huey's to canes.

First time customer...grilled chicken was luke warm, and I agree with another reviewer...it was the size of my thumbs. Cole slaw was dry. French Fries cold. Cookies were good but super thin and over priced. Family member said the Chicken sandwich was good and breaded tenders were good. Texas toast was soggy. Family agrees overall this wasn't a great or uniue place.

my all time favorite chicken
it is moist, easy to dip in their many different dips, and also the Texas toast is an excellent meal anytime of day !!!!

The 7 piece tender had 3 pieces of chicken that appeared very overcooked and the bread with it was rock hard

This restaurant is definitely a hit or miss regarding the staff who work. I have been given huge perfectly cooked tenders with plenty of fries and seasoning before, but those were rare occasions. Most of the time I get small nugget sized "tenders" and just soggy and drowned in oil. Their chicken salad is nothing to write home about either, they put way too much lettuce and the tiniest chicken bites possible, they were dry and cold when I got them.
If it is your first time ordering food from here, do not expect perfection or even good food, set your expectations low and hope you are proven wrong.
