I love this place! Indian cuisine is often pricey, this place is relatively modestly priced yet still plentiful and delicious (rice included with entrees!) As a vegetarian I am partial to the Paneer Butter Masala and the saag paneer, which are both excellent. The Butter Naan is also great.

The Butter Chicken was amazing. Very flavorful and creamy. The Palak Paneer was super flavorful too. The entrees come with rice, so no need to order an extra, that is unless you are splitting or just love a lot of rice.

Certainly some of the best Indian we've had in Chicago.
Paneer Tikka Masala is complex, flavorful, perfectly spiced.
the Lamb Vindaloo is exceptional, and SPICY! If you're simply interested in spice consider something else. If you love spice and can never get it hot enough this is the dish for you. not to mention the lamb is tender, but not mushy, and well flavored.

Consistently fast, fresh, and delicious. Butter chicken is flavorful and the chicken is juicy, with a decent portion and included rice. I like to pull apart the chicken before eating it, really makes it go farther. This is my go-to order.

I have tired all the Indian restaurants that result higher than Indian Clay Pot, but this is my favorite by a mile. The Butter Chicken had a great combo of spices (wouldn't mind if they let you choose the spicy level, I would have turned mine up just a tad), the chicken meat was great too--light meat, which is my preference. The Garlic Naan was very garlicy and delicious, too. The entrees come with a side of Plain Basmati Rice!
