My favorite comfort food, Indian Oven does such an amazing job with the flavor and the portion size!!

I ordered delivery after having had a really good meal at Indian Oven within the last couple of years. Unfortunately the CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA was overly tomato-y lacking flavour & spice I would usually expect & too salty. The chicken was also oddly cubed, not tender. The Bharta didn't taste like eggplant at all...just mushy. The veg biryani was wet with tomato sauce or paste. Overall everything also tasted like it had too much salt. Will not order delivery again or visit the restaurant.

Food was ok but not amazing. Butter chicken was fine, but the sauce was very watery and oily and lacked a lot of flavour. The okra was decent too but again very greasy/oily and too many chunks of thick onion.
Wouldn't order again. There's better Indian restaurants.

Very disappointing. Had recently had their tandoori chicken which was great, not dry and tasteful. Ordered the butter chicken and okra this time and extremely disappointing. Butter chicken was prob one of the worst I've ever had, sauce was runny and sour and the chicken itself didn't taste right. Not bad just not right. The okra dish was even worse - lacked flavour and the onions in the dish were quite large and chunky. Overall very bland and lacked flavour and quality.

This used to be my 'go to' place for Indian Food here in Vancouver. I ordered yesterday and I couldn't have been more disappointed. My Chicken pakoras were under cooked and soggy? The Palak Paneer had the consistency of Oatmeal with few to no chunks of cheese and the Nan felt like it was made much earlier in the day. Very sad to say it's unlikely I will be back.
