This place is fantastic! The portions are generous. The food is flavorful. Fair warning that it is a little spicy, so if you can't handle a little heat, this may not be for you. The mac and cheese is AWESOME. Brown stew chicken and jerk chicken were both fantastic. The strawberry shortcake had chunks of real strawberry in the filling. The coconut cheesecake was tasty, but I didn't really taste any coconut. All in all - EXCELLENT! We will definitely be ordering from here again!

The rice was a bit dry for both of our entrees. The jerk Jerk Chicken also says that it comes with two plantains, however, those were missing. It was also sweeter and more dry than Jerk chicken we have had in the past. The way that the Jerk Chicken was cut also left small bone fragments, and though I expect to find bones while eating, it was to the detriment of the experience.
The Oxtail With Butter Beans had a good portion size, but I am still not sure if it is worth the steep $30 price tag. There were also some small fragments of bone in the sauce. I expect there to be some bones, however, not to the amount we found.
This was our first time trying this restaurant and unfortunately, I don't think we will be trying it again.

I recently ordered the Curry Lobster and it was absolutely divine! The flavors were rich and aromatic, with a perfect balance of spices. The curry sauce was perfectly spicy and indulgent, and the lobster was tender and juicy. My only complaint - and it's a small one - is that I wished there was more lobster! The portion was generous, but the dish was so good that I wanted more.
Overall, I highly recommend the Curry Lobster from Island Cuisine. The quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef shine through in every bite. If you're a seafood lover like me, you won't want to miss this dish. Just be prepared to want more!

The flavor of the GOAT SOUP - FRIDAYS (LARGE) was good, there were literally only a few pieces of goat that was edible. The rest was fat and gooey. No disrespect. I'll stick to my favorite- chicken soup and red peas soup.

Their CHICKEN - SUNDAYS AND TUESDAYS (LARGE) could save the world. No lie. Not only is it fresh and taste delicious and I order at least 2x a month but it is the best cure for a hangover.
Island Q needs to bottle and sell this in the grocery stores. Absolutely the best!
