We got the "buy one,get one free" 2 Meat plate and an order of Jambalaya. Everything was fresh and hot! The meat plates are identical, so you're just getting double the amount of everything. They come with fixin's and bread. The cornbread had a nice crumb to it, not too dry.The Jambalaya has a bit of heat in the sausage but the rest is very mild and tasty. The greens were soft and perfect. Generous portions all around. We drizzled some honey on the cornbread. Very satisfying!

Flavors of the sliced brisket and hot links were delicious! Didn't give much brisket though compared to how many sausages you get. They gave full-sized sides which was awesome - bigger than I expected. The Mac and cheese was a lil funky.... but I wasn't mad at it. Just not my favorite! Coleslaw was pretty standard but still flavorful. Tasted like the used some onion in it which I appreciate. Cornbread was dry and no sweetness - will probably have the leftover with some butter and sprinkle a little sugar. Biggest disappointment: my slice of key lime pie was so tiny that it was comical! Which is a shame, because it was the best key lime pie I've ever had! Not worth the price unless they can be more generous. Overall, a little steep but I mostly enjoyed my meal.

It's never as good as I want it to be, no matter what I order from here. The Mac and cheese is gross and oily, the cornbread is dry, everything lacks flavor, and the desert isn't good. A tiny piece of key lime pie for nine dollars is an absolute joke.

The fried catfish 2 Pcs was very delicious. Make sure to get the tartar sauce and lemon to go with it. This plate is very heavy so you should be able to feed two people with it.
The beignets were very good in quality as well. I was very full and satisfied with half the plate and one beignet.
