Jong Ga House is one of my absolute favorites in Oakland. Heartwarming delicious food. Some of my fave dishes are the steamed sliced pork and spicy cold buckwheat noodle soup. Portions are also big and meant for sharing :)

I was very disappointed. The No.114 Spicy Tofu Soup broth is just water with no flavor, they just threw egg in the water and it was half cooked, barely any beef. It just felt like drinking slightly seasoned water with fish after taste. Not good at all, very nasty. The No.42 Sauteed Glass Noodles says comes with an egg and I see none. Very dry and make sure to have some water next to you, almost choked to death. No.23 Bul Go Gi was okay but very small portion. Overall not worth the price and lacking flavors and seasoning, especially for Korean cuisine

Perfectly fresh washed lettuce, beautifully prepared bulgogi, delicious soybean paste, and even an entire complimentary banchan tray!
The portions are perfect for 2 - we wanted some jalapeño and garlic too so I took the bulgogi and onion right from the delivery order and added it to my cast iron to heat up with the ingredients I prepped myself. Also ordered the kimchi No.113 Kimchi Fried Rice which is lovely and spicy.

Side banchan is generous but not very flavorful. Translates into the bibimbap.
Soy garlic chicken packaging isn't conducive to fried chicken, essentially got steamed inside the container so breading on the chicken became soaked and completely soggy.
I would eat inside restaurant but not get deivery again!

The No.114 Spicy Tofu Soup is soooo good. I love the Korean appetizers that come with it, as well as rice & a whole soft cooked egg in the soup. It always arrives hot and nicely wrapped. 5 plus stars :)
