Absolutely delicious! As a Korean, I have tried ordering from almost every Korean-style tonkatsu spot around here. Some places were way overpriced for poor quality (like charging $28 for a thin, tasteless cutlet), and others started off okay but got worse over time. I used to only order them as a last resort when I was craving it desperately.
Today was my first time ordering from King Katsu, and I am so incredibly happy! The tonkatsu is literally larger than an adult's face, yet it is so tender and flavorful. The outside is perfectly crispy, and the meat is so soft that it cuts effortlessly even with a disposable plastic knife. I also love how they carefully pack the meat in a separate paper box so it doesn't get soggy or mixed with other sauces. It’s so clean and thoughtful. I finally found a proper Korean tonkatsu place, and I am definitely a regular now!
