Pesto Caprese was good. From bread to pesto, had great flavor. Bread, veggies, etc seemed fresh. Portion-wise, is solid for lunch or dinner. If I was making it homemade, Id prob add a little more cheese for a caprese, but didnt feel jipped or anything. Quality sandwich. The Pasta Salad was ok-ish. They dont use any dressing/vinaigrette, so was pretty bland, less the onion and meats. A few of the cheese cubes had odd texture and there was something chewy in one of the pepperoni cubes, which was a bit of a turn off. I'm dumb, so maybe that happens w/ processed meats, too. Wasnt noticeable from outside, so not the fault of whomever made the salad. Pasta Salad had good reusable container. Sandwich paper had hole in it from where pesto made it tear, so a tomato and some arugula ended up in bag, but nothing crazy. All in all, I'd def order the sandwich again, and potentially give the pasta salad another shot in hopes it was a one-off.

the salad looked nothing like photo. lettuce was old, and salad extremely small. Cajun slaw was not cajun at all. Italian sub was good, even though bread was somewhat stale. definitely not fresh bread

Everything looks good! The Grilled Cheese was delicious and the chips were very crunchy. I did break down and eat the Chocolate Almond Coffee Cake that I gotfor the morning andthe Iced Lemon Loaf Cakeis looking pretty fine too. Also, they wrapped m sandwich like a diaper. That was hilarious.

This is hands down the best tasting restaurant I've ever had. Taste is savory and won't break the bank if you want something simple. It's just starting out but the owners have made something special. If you moved from Chicago and miss the Italian beef, come to knuckles and get one.
