Unagi Don was small but delicious. Wish there was more rice, like a 2:1 rice:eel instead of the 1:1. The Kani Salad was also very tasty even with the crab being fake. The Spicy Tonkotsu had delicious broth I personally thought there was more meat than I needed but that didn't negatively affect the dish at all.

This is the 1st time I've tried this place. I ordered the Salmon Bowl and it did not disappoint. I see why this restaurant is reviewed so favorably here in Grand Junction. The salmon was bigger than I expected unlike most restaurants. The food quality was excellent, with the rice having so much flavor by whatever sauce makes it flavorful and sticky. I didn't expect the portion so be as much as it was. You get what you pay for.
On top of that all that, I was kindly given a Miso Soup I didn't pay for with my order! Everything was so delicious. I would definitely come back in the future and recommend this place.

Unagi don, was $13 for 4 thin slices of fishy tasting eel, and the yakitori was $7 for 5 pinky thin pieces of chicken on a skewer, no rice nothing. Far from what I've come to expect from other restaurants. The pork bun was tastey but pretty much just two pieces of pork fat

I will always order their Pork Chashu Bowl when I'm down. they consistently give larger portions than anywhere else and the food is great reheated. thank you for helping me through this messy breakup

I LOVE this restaurant. They package everything so nicely, and they have quick service, too. I usually order the Spicy Miso. I like to add an extra egg and remove the meat. My boyfriend always eats the Pork Belly for me. I don't prefer the texture of pork belly, but the flavor it leaves in the broth is wonderful! Highly recommend!
