Koko+Rae restaurant offers traditional Jamaican dishes along with some American staples with a Caribbean twist. We offer Oxtail stew, Curry goat , coconut rice and peas, curry chicken and more.
Good portions, had enough for leftovers. Chicken was tender and tasty. Curry was just enough without being overpowering. My kid smashed my Mac so I'm assuming it was good since I didn't get but one noodle. Definitely kiddo approved. Both cornbreads were moist and the Caribbean Cornbread was my favorite. We love this place. Only complaint is location access. Great area but very little parking.

$7.00 for qty. 1 flaky pastry containing a runny spicy sauce, no patty.
The $5.00 Cabbage side was served in a 1/4 cup container. The price and the quantity aren't justified.
I don't recommend and will NOT be a return customer.

This was a HUGE disappointment... the cornbread was hard and inedible... and you are made to believe you get three Chicken patties and you only get one for the price of $7.00... the food was okay but already just left a bad taste in my mouth regarding quality. I WILL NEVER order from here again .

First time in Louisville and heard about this place, so ordered a little bit of everything.
I ordered on a very rainy day where traffic may have been slower, but received generous portions! Everything was well-seasoned. The Caribbean Oxtail was "fall off the bone" soft, and so was the Curry Goat Meal. I like my food very spicy so I definitely had to add some pepper sauce, but I was impressed. Jerk Chicken Meal was a tad on the dry side, but the Jerk BBQ sauce on the side was a nice touch.
Pleasantly surprised: Koko’s Mac & Cheese and the cabbage.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered the Jerk Chicken Bowl with Original Cornbread. The portion was generous and the chicken was tender. The cornbread was warm when it arrived. The chicken bowl was supposed to include beans, but it didn't. It was just chicken and rice. I tried to call but the number on the website but it wasn't in service. There also wasn't a receipt with my delivery that might have had a number on it. I don't think I will order from here again.
