Kona has quickly become by favorite spot for Hawaiian food. All of their meats are delicious and fresh off the grill. We enjoy their Galbi Beef Ribs, Teriyaki Chicken and Mac salad a lot! Their bulgogi is very good as well. We got a generous portion for each plate! Excited to order from them again.

Super bummed that this place wasn't what I'd hoped. The French fries were cold but also overcooked and dry. The portion was super small, too, like maybe a handful for $8, which is a rip off. The teriyaki chicken was dry and burnt with virtually no teriyaki sauce or flavor. The Mac salad was fine. Overall this was a huge bummer of a meal.

The French Fries were overcooked and dry but also cold. $8 is a ridiculous price for a small handful of fries. The Teriyaki Chicken was burnt, cold and didn't have any teriyaki sauce that I could see or taste. The Mac salad was okay but overall a disappointment. Bummer.

Kona kitchen HOOOOOOKS it up for the price and I was so pleasantly surprised!!!! I'm full and happy and it's all thanks to Kona! Will be ordering again and again whoever was working tonight is the best!

Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with mac salad, to call out a few things-there was barely any chicken, maybe a quarter of a breast shredded into small pieces, and it was crunchy with char, zero teriyaki sauce. there were a ton of sesame seeds on top. They started with a layer of rice that was soaked in teriyaki, topped that with a thicker layer of plain rice, then the chicken, green onion. The pictures show a 3 section container with your main as the larger portion and your side taking up the two smaller sections and a cup of kimchi, not the case, one smaller section is your side, the second is the kimchi. no option to select no kimchi. It was a smaller portion then I expected for sure. made myself a salad after the fact because I was still hungry. I also got the Cucumber Salad it too did not match the menu pics. there is no onion, and the cucumber is cut very thick. pics of both items included here for your judgement.
