Bringing the taste of the East to the West - Dragon Tea
Dragon Tea is a family owned boba shop with a passion for fusing flavors from all over the world.
We ordered a small selection from the menu, opting for: Honey Milk tea with black tea, brown sugar boba, and 100% of the sugar; Ultimate Ube with brown sugar boba; and the Lemonade - Strawberry extra sweet.
My husband has dificulty tasting due to sinus issues, but boy could he taste that Lemonade - Strawberry! I tried it too and it was delicious, though I would back the sugar down. The strawberry is front and center in this drink. It's bright and refreshing, perfect for sweltering Phoenix summers.
The Ultimate Ube was cool, creamy, and delicious! I've never had ube before and I will certainly be having it again. The caramel in the drink is subtle and perfectly sweet, but the very best part of this drink is the coconut jelly. I preface this with the clear understanding that coconut jelly is DEFINITELY NOT FOR EVERYONE. People with textural aversions especially could have a hard time with it. I can say that if one could get past the unexpected and slightly different texture, it is well worth it. If I would have known how good this stuff was, I would have skipped the boba and just doubled the coconut jelly.
Finally, the Honey Milk tea with the brown sugar boba. The strength of the tea is perfect, as is the amount of honey used to balance it. It is perfectly creamy, the boba has just the right chew, all combined to make a great sweet treat pick-me-up.

Ordered Dragon Lumpia Eggrolls, Dragon Ball Popcorn Nuggets, Kalamansi citrus refresher & strawberry matcha harmony cookie. The highlights were the lumpia, popcorn nuggets were flavorful & crispy. The kalamansi refresher could have benefited from more kalamansi flavor. The cookie was just ok.

the coconut butterfly and the dirty horchata were both really good but omg the coconut butterfly might be the best tea i've ever had. also they gave me cute stickers thank you guys so much for that it made me so happy :) 10/10 would recommend

The brown sugar milk tea was delicious. I don't like tea places that use the syrup for the brown sugar and this place doesn't use it. I ordered a small since it was my first time trying it. i should've gone large.
While in the store, i ordered the Ube oreo cookie. it is the BEST cookie ive ever had. my first time trying ube and it was a delight. Will definitely go back!

Was an amazing hazelnut drink with brown sugar Boba, really fresh and sweet, but not over the top. for regular size you can drink it pretty quick. i'm probably gonna order it again.
