• 3/10/24I fell in love with this place the first time a friend introduced me to it a few weeks ago. I've always typically stuck with the same dish at most Mexican restaurants - Arroz con Pollo. I ordered that my first time here and it was so delicious, I've been venturing out on the menu. The fish Fish Tacos are DELICIOUS and the mango sauce is *chef's kiss*. they ate always prompt, the food always arrives hot, and again, SO YUMMY. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

• 20/9/25This is my go to restaurant when the family wants to order Mexican. The steak Quesadilla Fajita are my go to order. It's a huge portion; my one complaint is they only cut it in half so it can be hard to eat easily. I'd love to try other dishes but I love the quesadilla so much I don't want to miss ordering it whenever we order! Another family member always gets the chicken Fajita Nachos and the restaurant is great about making sure the cheese sauce is on the side because of a dairy allergy.

• 25/5/26We've tried quite a few of the Mexican restaurants in St. Louis city and La Catrina is one of our favorites. Consistently fresh and quality in a way we haven't seen with many others.

• 19/10/25Food is good, as always, but I kid you not, the portions get smaller and smaller every dang time!! Used to be enough that i could make two smaller meals out of this dish, which justified the cost.. but now? Barely enough chicken to fill one tortilla,let alone 2 or 3!
