• 15/2/25So this was my first time ordering from Lam's. I work nearby and keep getting told from friends that they like this place, and it took me months before I finally decided to try it out. Reviews all say they love *No.2 General Tso's Chicken, and I have to say I agree; if you order it with Medium heat, it's just right. My only gripe is that the pieces of each chicken are HUGE and would be much more enjoyable to share with my family if they were half the size. I got the pork fried rice in that combo meal and the taste was good! I also tried the *General Tso’s Tofu on the side and I like it. It comes with plain rice, which is perfect. The Vegetable Spring Roll (1) I ordered had good taste and has the perfect crunch. All in all, will consider trying them again. The taste is there, and my family can agree.

• 25/9/26There were some hits & misses with my order; more misses than hits for this order. And, they did not add my egg roll in with my order ...only the spring roll.
I do hope they improve upon attention to detail and going lighter on the salt or soy sauce used to prepare some dishes, which can be too salty to truly enjoy.
Ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young Combination, plus Hot & Sour Soup (Mild, plus one Egg Roll & one Spring Roll and an order of Pan fried dumplings.
The Shrimp Egg Foo Young was plentiful (a very generous portion), yet a tad salty. The fried rice (I added Shrimp to it for $5) had peas & carrots in it, which I don't care for, and the peas were just too hard & dry and carrots were mushy.
The rice itself had a good flavor but a tad too salty & the gravy was well seasoned. The shrimp were tasty and large-sized. I asked for extra garlic & green onion on my entree to boost the flavor.
Unfortunately, the Hot & Sour Soup was way TOO HOT/SPICY as I asked for mild but the slice was overpowering everything and I could not eat it.
The Pan fried dumplings were bland and the dipping sauce was too salty and had too much vinegar in it to enjoy the dumplings.
The sauce should be well-balanced in flavor (sweet/vinegar) and still be deliciously savory, adding to the flavor of the dumpling filling, but mine was devoid of flavor.
Again, I was missing an Egg Roll in my order but did receive the Spring Roll (all veggies), which had an underlying salty aftertaste I did not like. The wonton wrappers used were very oily.
Will try them again some other time to see if there is any improvement. Give them a try and decide for yourself.

The No.21 Shrimp Egg Foo Young was among the best I'd ever had. It was a little different this time a little too salty, and the gravy not as dark brown, so it tasted different. It was good great but not great.
We ordered the Beef with Mixed Vegetable, the No.2, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, the Pan fried dumpling, the Vegetable Spring Roll (1), the Vegetable Egg Rolls, Extra Gravy, and *Hot & Sour Soup.
The flavor of the Beef with Mixed Vegetable was excellent due to the brown sauce, however, the beef itself was not tender, which was disappointing and not a great value.
This is because they were generous & it was loaded with the tough Beef with Mixed Vegetables in this dish.
The Vegetables in the Beef with Mixed Vegetable were very fresh, tender with some crunch to them. The brown sauce was delicious.
The No.21 Shrimp Egg Foo Young was a bit too salty (the gravy) but the shrimp were a great size and very fresh.
The Pan fried dumpling were Chicken dumplings with a sauce that needed more *sweet/salt/sour balance. It was more on the salt & vinegar tasting side.
The Egg Roll (1) (we got three) and Vegetable Spring Roll (1) (we got three) were tasty a d tender in the inside while crispy in the outside. Very Good and so was the dipping sauce.
The *Hot & Sour Soup was so-so. It tasted more like a sour mushroom soup with all the mushroom on it. It needed more balance in flavors.
Try it for yourself and you decide. Hope you Enjoy!

• 21/1/26I've dined (in) this place many times, with great food. This first delivery order was not so good.The chicken in the CRF was dry and hard, no lettuce under the Almond Boneless Chicken, the gravy was like paste and didn't taste well. The egg rolls were good. No soy sauce or fortune cookies. I'm disappointed and won't be ordering again.
