Cream Top Matcha was good but very small for the price point. The Blueberry Special was delicious, don't get it extra toasted though it will be too hard to chew. Noel's sure what the regularly toasted option was however. Blueberry Baby Cake was good, small and not overly sweet.

I'm in love with Layla bagels so much! This was the best bagel ever and the berries are always fresh and tasty!

i loved it but gettin extra toast was not a good idea, it made the bagel very hard to bite into. i was full with just 1 and a half bagel and it was very fresh, ordering again but with regular toast only.

Hands down the BEST bagel shop in LA. The Spicy BEC (bacon egg and cheese) never misses. the ingredients are always fresh, the flavors are always consistent, and i've never had a bad bagel from here!

I recently tried Layla’s Bagels and had a pretty mixed experience. I ordered the Evil Steve, the Spicy B.E.C., and the Mia. While they were all okay in terms of flavor, nothing really stood out enough to justify the high prices. The biggest issue was the bagels themselves—they were too hard and difficult to bite into, which took away from the overall enjoyment.
As for the drinks, the Cream Top Matcha was disappointing and didn’t taste like matcha at all. On the other hand, the Carrot Cake Latte was definitely the highlight—really flavorful and enjoyable. The carrot cake itself was also tasty and worth trying. The regular latte was just okay, nothing special.
Overall, there are a few good items, but between the pricing and the texture of the bagels, I’m not sure I’d rush back.
