There was sooooo much food! The okra was seasoned to perfection! There was chicken and sausage in every bite!! And the fried pork steak was HUGE! I couldn't finish any of it! Everything was DELICIOUS!!!

There were only two oxtails. The  food was not well seasoned at all. I had to add my own seasonings to help. Too heavy on the pepper, but not much else. The yams were horrible and not at all edible. They tasted as though Apple Cider Vinegar was used heavily to make them.  I will not be able to order again.

I love the Okra from here but im sooo over getting plate full of rice and not enough Okra. I had so much rice parts of it didn't even change color when I mixed it not cool. i like rice enough but its not a good ratio. I keep trying to support but this keeps on happening.

With Fried  Catfish was missing. Hmmm
The Jambalya Meal (Chicken and Sausage) w/ fried pork steak : three part review now, so the jambalaya was okay. The pork steak was super fried and not very tasty imo. Was a large portion. We had to share it and-still  didn't finish. The side macaroni was nuked or seemed to be? The Yams were good. The Pecan Pie was a bought and purchased elsewhere tiny piece. Still in the fridge. Our first and last with this place. Maybe it was an off day for them??  Hopefully future customers have a better experience than we did....

Let me start by saying Keesie's hospitality is great and he has amazing energy but that's the only good  part about this review.  

Ordered 2 Oxtail plates one with extra gravy and one with gravy on the side due to me liking to pour my gravy on as I eat. The oxtails were abysmal and lacked that New Orleans flare you typically find in their cuisine. The gravy which was more of a lite roux was to lite for me and wasn't very flavorful at all. The Mac and cheese shouldn't even be allowed on the menu because it was trash, it was not cheesy at all and had no flavor at all which was sad. The greens. were mid but did have a hint of spice making them tolerable for consumption. The corn bread which was jiffy probably was the most enjoyable part of the meal. all in all for $29 - $30 plus per plate this was not it at all. Very big disappointment especially since the owner hyped it up as it would be the best New Orleans food I would have had.
