• 15/8/26Long River always prepares and serves to perfection. Combo Fried Rice was out of this world as always and plentiful in portion. Same for the Small Plain Fried Rice for which they were so kind to give me two. Been coming here since I was young and then my mother and grandmother decades before me enjoyed the same delightful Chinese cuisine Danville, VA has to offer.

• 21/7/24S 7. General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice was fresh and delicious. One order is big enough for 2 people. Wonton Soup was also hot and fresh. It was delivered 20 minutes ago and still piping hot! They give free fortune cookies too!

• 5/12/25Chicken Fried Rice cooked fresh to perfection. You definitely get your money's worth! Teriyaki chicken on stick always comes out perfect! Best Chinese restaurant in Danville for decades. Of course I shall order again.

• 7/12/25This is my first non-5 star review for Long River in over 25 years. The chunks of onion in the chicken fried rice was ridiculous. FAR too many onion. It was almost comical. Also, too much sauce/syrup on the S 4. Sesame Chicken. It's chicken, not pancakes! Other than the onions and abundance of sauce, the taste was fine. Portion was huge.
