the order was nicely packaged, sealed tightly, everything was not only accurate but fresh & still very warm, some items piping hot & we're not nearby. that puts others to shame. it didn't taste as if only over salted like several other places. there were other distinguishable spices: a Very nice impressive surprise. plus, it's nice when chicken tastes like it isn't over brined. which also means the chicken looks, taste & has the texture of real chicken. some places don't understand, we can tell other places worry they won't cook it right: they overly rely on brine. here, you can order dark meat too: thank you. we will order again. the fruit cup, actually was fresh fruit, not canned like others: thank you! the cookies, well, they're huge. I'm told they're also excellent. the dasher was nice, too. they worked well together. we even decided to go dine in in the near future, which is rare but everyone enjoyed. and, yes, we have a bit of welcome leftovers.

made an in-house lunch with mom quick & easy. Luby's has proven to be consistent in quality & packaging. The Carrot Cake was perfection!

Order white meat got a toddler size piece of chicken dark meat. Ordered corn bread & got jalapeno corn bread so didn't eat it as it was chunky with corn & jalapeños. Ordered an extra tartar sauce for my husband's fish since & paid for it, but no tartar sauce was sent. Overall I love Lubys but this order was disappointing & I honestly can't believe they let such a small piece of chicken go out.

Not sure what's going on with Luby's. The last two times I've ordered a Roast Chicken Combo, I got two dark pieces of meat, instead of a dark and a white. This essentially limits the amount of chicken I'm actually getting. And feels chintzy. Like a con. For the amount of money that I'm paying ($16.98), I would expect a little more effort put forth toward customer service. But whatever. I'll just lay off Luby's for a while, and order from Cracker Barrel, until I hear Luby's have gotten their act together.
