5-star experience with order communication! When my first choice fish wasn't available, the restaurant quickly reached out about substituting with another option. They stayed in touch throughout the process, making what could have been a disappointment into a smooth transaction. Really appreciated their proactive approach to customer service.

Overall taste is not bad +1 star
But not worth the money. $30 for a small plate of 九秒半嫩腰花 Stir-Fried Pork Kidney & Pepper and doesn't even come with rice.
$24 for 乌鸡药膳汤 Chinese Herbal Silkie Chicken Soup came in 2 x .75 quart containers with 4 tiny pieces of chicken in it and isn't adequately sealed for transit.

Went to pick up my order all excited and asked the server if my order come with rice, which he said yes it does. I was ready to order a rice on the side if it doesn't. Before the handoff I asked another server again if there's rice which he also said yes.
It doesn't. ☹️
The 板栗红烧肉 Braised Pork Belly with Chestnuts is barely passing hence the 2 stars.
The Good:
- Pork fat is soft enough to bite on but not melting like the one I had at Porkie's.
- Pretty generous portion, I counted 12 large pork belly
The Not so Good:
- After chewing a few times, the pork still have a very strong pork smell, which is strange if this dish is slow cooked all the smell would have been braised away. Which makes me believe this is prepared in high pressure cooker to soften the fat, or they sourced some cheap pork.
- The meat is a tad dry
- Chestnut is alright but doesn't really complement the dish. Some greens would be great
- The sauce is a bit bland
While the portion is generous, I couldn't eat more than 3 pieces because of the pork smell. Please process your pork longer or use more spices or cooking wine.

The 酸汤肥牛 Fatty Beef in Sour Sauce is super sour without spicy favor. There is not much meat in the dish. The packing is bad. The sauce leaked. The Cauliflower dish is just average. Will not order again. Btw you have to buy the rice separately

I ordered the 椒盐虾 Salt & Pepper Shrimp specifically because it looked like they made it the way I like it. They don't and it looked nothing like the picture. And the rice was mushy. And I don't eat pork so I ordered 蟹粉小笼包 Crab Meat Soup Dumpling (5). It didn't look like crab but maybe they put some filler stuff in that's not pork? Fingers crossed
