Just want to say, Martin's is consistently delicious! We eat there about twice a month when time permits. Please don't forget to patronize this traditional Southern meat and three! I'm bragging today about the Baked Chicken and string beans, butter peas and collards! Some have mentioned lack of salt/seasoning. I believe that Martin's' has done a great job of cutting back on salt and fat (slightly) in the interests of our health and I for one APPRECIATE it! The southern flavor we're used to REMAINS! They remain the best priced, consistently excellent, southern meat and veggies! Generous portions (always leftovers for lunch the next day!) and the meringue pies (coconut for me) remain divine! Thank you Martin's for years of EXCELLENT food! And yes, I'll get pictures next time! (Multiple order review!)

SO DELICIOUS! The 2 baked chicken breasts were tender and seasoned just right! Not overly seasoned with salt. Thank you! The collard greens, okra, corn and tomatoes, along with the string beans are great! All this with corn bread muffins! SO filling at a GREAT PRICE!

Chicken was good crunchy and mildly flavorful . Sides: dressing, turnip greens, and mashed potatoes, and candied yams were deplorable. Lacked seasoning and flavor. Corn bread was terrible as well. Gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt but it truly lived to its expectations. Very dissatisfied.

The Martin's Famous Fried Chicken was delicious as always. It's hard to fry chicken with even consistency from right below the skin all the way to the bone. Each piece is perfectly tender, not greasy. The crust is golden brown and not so hard that it's hard to eat. The vegetables are seasoned perfectly. You'll think you just left your Grandmother's house on a Sunday afternoon. The portions are huge. There's always enough for lunch and dinner so you actually get 2 meals for the price of 1.

I love ordering from Martin's! Each time, I receive a great portion of food that's enough left over for another day, but it never makes it past day two! The food is always hot and fresh every time! 100/100 I would recommend Martins for that goood down home southern cooking!
