I got the pick two with the half a spud and chef salad. I needed the plain potato because I have to watch my sodium. It was perfectly baked and fluffy inside. The half chef salad had lots of meat and cheese. It was more than I could eat. I was very pleased with the whole meal and, of course, the sweet tea was the best!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Tonight, the salad and Kid Spud were both tasty. The Reuben, however, was not.
I haven't ordered one for a long time because they were misnamed. It contained LOTS of corned beef. That has not changed. But almost NO sauerkraut. I've noticed other reviews saying the same, but thought I'd try once more. Mistake. If you want to call it The Corned Beef Sandwich, that would be fine, but there was not enough sauerkraut to taste at all. It's a disappointment, and not a real Reuben.

McAlister's has something for any mood. I love the fresh salads and sandwiches like the Cuban and New Yorker. The staff makes sure portions are good and consistent. I will continue to keep ordering again and again.

ordered the bbq pork nachos there wasnt enough pork on it to fill a fork full and about 6 pieces of shredded cheese and that was it no other topping basically just plain chip and the horseradish beef and chedder tastes like rotten meat something was definitely wrong with it

I ordered the Harvest Chicken Salad (contains pecans) like I always do, it's honestly one of my all time favorite sandwiches and it's especially yummy with their BBQ chips. Well, I decided to get a sweet tea with lemon this time. No lemon, and it looks extremely light. Tastes more like sugar water than tea. If you're to charge almost $4 for a tea, least you could do is ACTUALLY make it tea. Thanks.
