Always so happy with Mellefont! You wouldnt get this fish for anything less than $15 anywhere else, yet is so afordable here at $7/8 for what they label as medium but is large everywhere else. Keep uo the great work guys!

The sweetlip was cooked to perfection. Chips crunchy and tasty also. Large serving sizes of each. No photo taken because we ate them too quick.

the sea scallops were ittsy bittsy considering they cost over 3 dollars each. At Swains they're massive was really disappointed. Crumbed sausages were hard and tasted fishy. The battered fish though was excellent! Loved them, chips crunch and serving size awesome and calamari and potato scallops were enjoyed.

A visitor to Gladstone relied on the reviews
Tried to ring the shop to air my disappointment
The scallops where tiny and overcooked , the potato scallops where swimming in oil and couldn't be eaten
I'm not one to complain but when you pay good money I would have expected better

I want to say a big thank you to Mellefont Fish & Chips,
For calling me as I thought fresh meant caught straight from the ocean into fry pan, But it's not
Fresh means raw
So I'm so greatly appreciative of that phone call
And the Hoki was so amazing battered too
Plus the kids love their Pluto Pups as well
Thank you again
