This is still the best place in North Platte! Its been a long while since I've been here and having it now still shows they are the best at what they prepare! You want good American mid-west comfort food, this is the place to go. Thanks to the staff at Merricks Ranch House for an amazing meal.

CHICKEN STRIP BASKET chicken is awesome but there mashed potatoes taste like they came from box and Green beans are flavorless but a great deal.

Let me start by saying my mom liked her chicken noodle soup. I was disappointed by my chicken fried steak. The steak was over done, the potatoes looked and tasted like instant potatoes and they forgot my side salad. It's definitely not like it used to be.

The LARGE CHEF CHICKEN SALAD already had the ranch dressing on it.There was too much and it made it soggy and gross. I did call the restaurant and she said they were training a new employee.And then pretty much said they would do better next time, but didn't offer to make it right. Had to toss most of it out as it was too soggy
