I love the BEETNIK SALAD (vegetarian)! It is my go to salad here and I usually add a protein (grilled achiote chicken or egg). The NAPA SANDWICH is also delicious but had to remove some cheese since there was a lot in it.

The salad was good, and I appreciate the variety of toppings I could add. However, part of the avocado was brown and there were only 4 slices of carrot. They sent the wrong drink, and the choc chip cookie was unsatisfying, especially considering the price.

I love the design your own salad option! One qualm I have is that the portion sizes can sometime be inconsistent. Sometimes, my salad is packed to the brim, which is great value. Other times, I'm disappointed that I paid $15 for a salad that is the same size as a large trader joe's salad. Everything always tastes fresh though, and the miso ginger vinaigrette is probably my favorite salad dressing ever.

There was no shortage of caramelized onions. There was a fistful of them in the salad. The grilled steak was cold and chewy. There was very little goat cheese or potato. Overall, it was a pretty unenjoyable experience! I usually love Mixt but wouldn't doordash it again.

I feel like unless you ask for extra toppings - you essentially get a bowlful of lettuce and salad dressing. I was reluctant to order based on my past experience. Just go to Mendocino Farms and get your moneys worth.
