Excellent sushi and great value. Stick with the sushi--cooked dishes are overpriced

Spicy tuna roll was not fresh, kinda seemed premade? Large portions and used to love this place but was underwhelmed

Cheap sushi but you get what you pay for. Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll had a bone in it. I wonder if this is a fake restaurant in a bodega.

I am really surprised. Ive been going to Mottsu since it opened (20 yrs?) and have even ordered delivery recently. Today the fish tastes--old. Lifeless. Refigerated. Tastes like … nothing organic. I'm really disappointe, but moreover shocked that Mottsu, such a reputable + delicious place, would serve sub-par fish.

Terrific local sushi spot that has been in the hood for 10+ years, highly recommend.
