I love Mughlai so much. First, the Mughlai Special is literally a service to its community. It makes having multiple tastes of indian cuisine affordable. Second, the flavors are really well developed and clean. They do things the right way. I was afraid id have to go downtown a bit for a great Indian meal, but we have a gem right in the UES.

amazing food so good. Chicken Biryani was perfect amount of spicy. Mango Lassi was amazing. Naan Garlic perfectly garlicky. and amazing Chicken Tikka Masala. Would absolutely order again

Very inviting restaurant and efficient with my order. Lamb Rogan Josh was very savory and delicious and the portion was just right.
I would definitely return.

Food wast great. The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted cheap and barely had any chicken in it, maybe 4-5 small pieces. the Naan Garlic was soggy as well. The masala sauce was pretty dang good, i'll admit. Unfortunately I also got a bit sick after eating it though

Food is fine, but to charge $7 for only 3 little pieces of Gulab Jamun is such a racket. Really disappointing. And the photo they use to advertise the dessert has at least 7 of them!
