I avoided this restaurant for years writing it off as its dept store dining which aren’t typically noted for good food.What a mistake I made.Who knew?
Their strip steak is a lower cost cut of steak that could give some local steakhouses a run for the money on the cheaper cut list.It was tasty well executed good outer charred steak bursting with flavor.
Oddly the Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro is really simply spaghetti with a nice simple tomato sauce with high quality shrimp with fresh cherry tomatoes and spinach. It rivals some of the overpriced high end Italian restaurants on and off the strip.
The chicken was dry /overcooked but the quality was there.
The Hope's Royale Cookie is delicious and of high quality even though it was busy with more mix ins than I prefer.
Just sad they have limited hours
I’m delighted they are in a number of cities I plan to be a regular

You do not provide enough salad dressing to cover a salad of that size. The ingredients in the salad were good. The bread pudding was burnt on the very top. Disappointed.

Ruscella's is always dependable , excellent food! I especially like the pizzas, simple salad, tomato bisque soup with Crostini.
