Also, 2.99 to upgrade your fries to a full sized appetizer is crazy. I chose toasted ravioli, and they were some of the tastiest I've ever had.
Omar's is the best restaurant in this neighborhood.

2 Catfish Fillet & 4 Wings The fried catfish was excellent, probably the best I've had in a long time. The one underneath was kind of greasy on the bottom. It was an excellent selection of quality catfish, cooked well, and very tasty. The original flavor chicken wings were tasty, not meant to be very spicy or salty, and were done well.
I had the zucchini sticks as my side, and was very pleased with the large portion and quality of the zucchini. Got a Side of Tzatziki Sauce and it went well with them.
Soda can was a premium brand of tasty root beer, Day's. Although they don't list it here, they appear to have a large selection of sodas.

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is spot-on, loaded with chicken and a pickle spear, beautifully grilled exterior.
Cheese Burger is big enough for a grown man.
Toasted Ravioli were perfect,as always.

The chicken kebab was really dry. The rest of the food we got was overly greasy and bland. The hummus wasn't even flavorful. The portions were good. We got an overabundance of rice that was also greasy. I won't order again unless it was to try the gyro to see if it isn't as greasy.

Poppers were massive! Burger is one of the best around, fries are always hot and fresh. You can trust Omar's.
