Oh man, this food was delicious. This was elevated Hawaiian by so many degrees. The Loco Moco was hearty with two patties and super great gravy! Ramen and Saimin [HOT NOODLE SOUP] both super comforting and just the right amount of salty and savory. The Fresh Rolls were alright- the rice paper wrapping was a little hard for our liking- should be chewy and soft. We will order again

The burger was the best burger ive had in a while, i had previously ordered and wasnt too good, but recently gave it another go and it was so much better, the fries where super light and crispy. And the Sugar Cane Juice tasted very fresh and refreshing. The price is high for a burger but it is quite large so that makes sense. The Chicke Katsu Plate Lunchn was also very good, some of the best chicken katsu ive had as well. Overall very impressed by the improvement or maybe it was just an off day last time

SO overpriced, will not order again.
The Ramen serving size is laughable. I've ordered from both Hokkai Ramen & Sushi and Ramen + Bowl and both serve easily twice the serving size for a smaller price. This ramen bowl came with 3 extremely thin pieces of meat, a small handful of noodles, and egg and the toppings you can see, probably about a cup and a half of broth. This ramen for the size was NOT worth more than $10 let alone $20. Save your money & go to one of the other ramen places in Bellingham. The broth did not taste like any I've ever had, it was not bad but it was very reminiscent of a very thin chicken gravy rather than broth, noodles were overcooked in a way I did not enjoy - not firm.
The Plate Lunch also has a very small portion size for the price, not more than a small scoop of rice and macaroni & while the chicken was fairly sized the texture was dry and did not taste fresh.
Flavors are good, but overall too small servings unless they lower the price, and not fresh.

Fish and chips: fish was moist and with the right amount of batter. Really good fries and not oversalted. Ramen egg: perfectly cooked and tasty but overpriced at $5.
