Great quality at reasonable prices. The sashimi plated options are awesome... great value. the Yellowtail Belly 5PC melts in your mouth!! The Lemon Cilantro roll was fresh and bright. The Chicken Fried Rice, Salmon Belly 5PC , and Salmon Carpaccio were excellent. I wish the rolls didn't have so much Crab inside most of them.

The taste, portions, and freshness at Ototo are unparalleled. Also appreciate the consistently great customer service. My favorites are the Baja and Rincon rolls if you like a little heat. Nigiri were also buttery as always.

I accidentally ordered from the wrong location and not the one near my house but I'm glad I did. The ahi was seared perfectly and the sushi and hand roll was delicious. So much better than the one by my house. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Been looking for a good sushi place since moving to SD a few years back.
Best I've had by far! Salmon was very fresh and the sushi itself was arranged beautifully even though it was takeout. The gyoza was great too. Glad to have finally found our new sushi spot!

I order from here often and am usually impressed with the quality and quamtity of food. This time was a bit disappointing, however. Portions were much smaller than usual, and the Ototo roll is like all cucumber and avo and krab, a little bit of salmon and yellowtail thrown in but no tuna at all. Not worth the price and def not as advertised! I will not be ordering this again.
