The food was really good, but I was very disappointed to have paid $6.99 to receive only 3 slices of plantains. The photo included on the menu displays a container full of plantains, so this is very misleading and is false advertisement.

Bowl had maybe 2 tablespoons of black beans and zero avocado. The individual ingredients were fresh but overall a poor value, lacking in flavor, and not very filling. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night but I don't see the hype here.

I am so happy that theyarein ferndale! The Shredded Beef + Cheese is my go to item. The beef is so flavorful, it is just an amazing dish.Give them a try, they are lovely people who make amazing food.
