I've been eating Chicken Tikka Masala for years.
I'm used to big chunks of chicken in a curry sauce.
This was thin slices of chicken and lots of diced red & green peppers which is first for me in this dish.
Also a tiny portion compared to other local places.

After moving from the Bay Area to Stamford, I couldn't wait to introduce my wife to my old staple: Paradise Biryani. I’d hyped it up so much that the disappointment was physical when we finally sat down to eat. The flavor was a shadow of its California counterpart, and the paneer was unpleasantly sour. My wife was—rightfully—less than impressed.
Instead of tossing it, we staged an intervention. We spent the evening iterating on the flavors, adding everything from garlic butter and fresh ginger to a full suite of spices like turmeric, garam masala, and coriander. It was a monumental task to fix the balance, but the process actually turned into a great bonding experience for us. In the end, we made it edible, though we both agreed: next time, it’ll be easier to just cook it from scratch.

Gave curry instead of masala. Flavors were bland. Vegetable Samosa sauce cups not filled with sauce.
Would NOT order from here again. Try Taj or Vedas instead!

The restaurant made the driver wait 30 minutes, and then finally gave him the wrong order (someone else's bag). Even putting that aside, the food quality has significantly declined since the change in ownership. For a place with the word biryani in the name, the biryani should be great, and it used to be. Now it's bland, barely has anything other than rice, and that stuff is all at the bottom. Some dishes like the chicken tikka either lack taste, or in the case of the chana massala have too much pepper to the point it drowns out the flavor (despite requesting mild, too). The roti tastes like plastic or the wrapping it comes in. The Mango Lassi is usually good, albeit tiny, but sometimes tastes a little sour. The Lamb Korma is still usually good, when it isn't watered down with too much sauce and not enough meat. I knew the original owners, we worked together before they started this place. This place was amazing then, terrible or very inconsistent now. Never coming back here.
