I'd been going to the Pepitos restaurant for 40 yrs and when they closed it was very sad, but to hear the deli was still open was great, and recently finding them on DoorDash I was elated, I used to get the Chicken Chimichanga at the restaurant or sometimes the Spicy Pork Lupitas, at the deli there is a smaller version of the restaurants old menu and no longer can I get the Chicken Chimichanga BUT can still get the Spicy Pork Lupitas so very happy... Portions are very generous, the flavor is top notch and my entire family loves them, there is a Pico or Mild or Hot salsa so something for everyone, I get the mild when I want a bit of heat but prefer equally the hot when I need more and it IS hot but so flavorful... thanks Pepitos deli for adding yourself to DoorDash, I'll be ordering from you frequently.

As someone that grew up going to the Pepitos on Chicago Ave, this place is great nostalgia! The Grilled Chicken Enchilada is exactly the way I remember it and it's comforting. I love their enchilada sauce and beans. I am grateful that Pepitos Mexigo Deli is around. Brings back great memories.

I ordered the steak enchilada and the red sauce is too salty to eat. So I pulled the dry meat out and ate it with my rice & beans. After all these years it seems the queso is the only item worth going back for. And even that was unusually spicy. :-(
