Petra is by far one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Tampa! I’m a major foodie, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Every single dish I’ve tried has been incredible and easily some of the best I’ve had.
I always order extra garlic sauce because it is absolutely exceptional! My go-to is the mixed grill platter with rice and salad, and you really can’t go wrong with anything chicken shawarma. Everything is always incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients.
I also love that Petra is available on Uber Eats and DoorDash, which makes it so easy when I’m craving it at home. I’ve ordered their food for family and friend gatherings as well, and it is ALWAYS a favorite. Everyone loves it!
The flavors across all of their dishes are unreal, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and I’ve never been disappointed. If you love Mediterranean food—or just really good food in general—Petra is an absolute must!

The Beef Shawarma Sandwich is not very big & it comes with a good amount of beef but would be nice to have some lettuce and tomatoes in it as well!

Chicken shawarma were great, super tender and full of chicken. Hummus had way too much cilantro or some other herb that was overpowering.
