I recently dined at Platinos, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, the lively and vibrant atmosphere transported me to Colombia. The decor was beautiful, full of colorful accents and cultural touches that made it feel so authentic and welcoming.
The food was truly the highlight. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Every bite felt like a true taste of Colombia. The empanadas were also exceptional, perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful fillings. And the fresh juice options, like maracuya and lulo, were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.
The staff at Platinos was warm and attentive, eager to share their recommendations and make sure we were enjoying everything. It added such a personal touch to the whole experience.
If you’re craving authentic Colombian food or simply want a welcoming place to gather with friends, Platinos is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to my next meal there!

The pupusas were burnt and so dry. The rice was mushy and bland. The plantain was flavorless as they weren't sweet. To charge 6.00 for half a plantain is that's is dry and tasteless is not a great deal. I was so disappointed we thought it would be better. I don't recommend it as there are better restaurants and at very price points.

I got the vegan Vegan bowl. A+!!! It's hard to find vegan comfort food better than rice and beans. The avocado was perfect and the plantains were great as well. I wish there had been tortilla chips for the Guacamole. However, 10/10 I would order again! I so appreciate when people make ethnic food that's accessible to vegans.

Me encantó pedir en Platinos por DoorDash. La comida llegó calientica, súper bien empacada y con un sabor delicioso que se nota hecho con cariño. Las porciones son generosas y todo estaba fresco. Sin duda volveré a pedir, ¡muy recomendado!

Best Cole slaw I've had in New England, but I've also only had the numerous so called "bbq" restaurants around here that don't even know how to cut a brisket let alone make bark on it.
