Best sammies in town. Fresh made sourdough, loaded with the most delicious fillings, and is big enough for 2 meals. You can never go wrong with Polene.

Delicious and arguably the best sandwiches in town! It is a bit on the expensive side vs their in store prices, but good, quality food is hard to come by in this city - I just wish they had a Rutland location too...
The herb mayo is the stuff of legends (on both), the Italian is more meat but a more heavy-handed ham deli sandwich, everything ingredient wise is like it came off the truck this morning from the farm, spectacular food sourcing/storage on their part for sure!
The Chicken BLT is otherworldly and I dream about it on a regular basis, it's so damn good, the bacon and chicken are both super flavorful (the chicken has what feels like a light seasoning?) and the bread is high quality too and good soft (unheated) but if you live close enough or get extremely lucky with driver speed/time of day good as it usually comes, toasted/ran through the oven (only the bread is just fyi).
If you're more than 5-7 minutes drive away, I do *strongly* advise asking in instructions for them to NOT heat/run it through the oven which they default do, as while it adds a bit of flavor profile/texture (I've had it miraculously still warm/not soggy twice ever now), the heat will cause the ingredients to condensate a lot which can lead to a very wet/falling apart sandwich by the time it gets to you.
There's not a lot that can be done about this though due to thermodynamics/time for travel and how many drivers stack orders in this town and I thoroughly appreciate the ability to have these delivered across town vs bussing 35 mins each way.

Best sandos in town!! The beef and Beef & Pickles is legendary, and the Italian is also amazing. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

sandwich was too wet. loaded with ingredients which made it filling and I didn't mind the taste, but my bread was soaked and ingredients were leaking out everywhere
