Yummy. Alot of ceviche but a lil bit of shrimp and alot of onion. Needs a few lemon slices and tapatio / ketchup packet :)

Worst carne a Asada Plate EVER! Inedible! For $20 I got about 3 ounces of paper thin meat that was so unbelievably overcooked, salty and tough that it wouldn't even pass for beef jerky. It was nothing like the picture. If I was the owner of this restaurant, I would be appalled at my staff not only for the preparation of this dish, but the poor quality is a disgrace. Then whomever boxed it up, knowing that it looked like this and still let it go out of the kitchen show their lack of care for the customer. No one would eat this. If you were in the restaurant, you would have returned it, and thought it was a joke.
Beans- buy one get one free! Probably because it came from the bottom of the pot. I've never had dried crumbly refried beans before today. Didn't know it was possible you could get beans this dry. Tasteless!
Rice- An abomination! Shocker... also dry! There were so many dried out crispy hard pieces of rice that while you were chewing, you would have thought you were eating uncooked rice. Also incredibly bland.
We ended up throwing all of it out and ordered Taco Bell. It was terrible. Called the restaurant and no one answered the phone. So disappointed.

We have ordered many dishes from Quetzal and they have been excellent, generous portions, very fresh ingredients etc. Maybe tonight was an off night, but we ordered one of the most expensive items, the Asada plate and it was terrible. The meat was tougher than boot leather, dried out, tasteless. The dog, who is an accomplished beggar and will eat anything, didn’t like it either, spitting it out. More sense than us, we kept chewing hoping to find more taste. It was so bad we threw both meals in the trash, a total waste of $40, tip etc. Even the side of Guacamole we ordered was sad, another waste of $7. Don’t know if we will try Q again. I normally never leave negative reviews but this was the worst Mexican food I have had in years and multiple cities.

Fajita BowlI I got steak,the Carne Asada was dry, and very bland with no seasoning or marinade flavors at all. Lettuce was hot and wilted in the bottom and the fried tortilla bowl was not fried enough. I was excited for the concept. Very let down by the lack of flavor.
Green sauce was bland and weird texture.
Fajita was ok
Guacamole was good and tortillas were well wrapped

Loved it! However, there were a lot of sautéed onions on the nachos. It was a huge portion that I was easily able to eat as leftovers the next day. Would order again, but with less onions and extra sour cream!
