Raise The Roost on Remount and Rivers is so good the people leaving bad reviews don't realize this is GREAT food for a GAS STATION! I have never had a bad meal from them. all of their breakfast is perfect. they're chicken is great, biscuits are the bomb and the potato wedges are my favorite. I only go to Raise The Roost for potato wedges because no one else does them as well as they do.

Mac and cheese that we opted for as one of our sides had no flavor at all, a "large" order of potato wedges was a 7count(has never been that scant an amount in previous orders), the green beans side was bland as well ...and to boot, we ordered biscuits to go with our meal, and received burnt white bread toast. Gave two stars because the chicken tenders in our 20pc Chicken Tender Family Meal were spot on as usual, as was the Buffalo Chicken & Mac Bowl

the chicken was terrible. I bit into it and found the skin to be over cooked and tasting like burnt oil.i could overlooked that if the meat was good, by just removing the skin. it wasn't meant to be, the meat tasted like dirty dish water. a lingering soapy taste. honestly it was the worst thing I've ever eaten from a restaurant. if I can update later I will if I become sick. it was over cooked not raw so I'm hoping that means it just tasted bad. get a different place for fried chicken. the mashed potatoes and gravy, and Mac n cheese were great. the biscuits were normal and even the chicken strips were ok. but the bone in chicken was terrible.
also the packaging sucked. they came in like KFC cardboard boxes, but packed in the plastic bags all the boxes fell apart on arrival. strips mixed with biscuits and potatoes fingers. and the boxes just were not up to the task so beware of that .
