The Oyako Katsu Don was a very generous portion and tasted really good overall. However, the outside of the chicken was slightly burnt and didn’t look the best presentation-wise—but the flavor was still amazing.
The Mango Colada Slushies was delicious! It had a nice subtle kick that was still enjoyable. I ordered it with boba, but the boba was mostly clumped together. I also requested brown sugar sauce on the sides, but unfortunately didn’t receive it—there wasn’t an option to add it😢.
The order took a while to arrive, and my bowl was only warm-not hot. At least the slushie was frozen.

I really just wanted my usual Miso Ramen which is always pretty good but decided to try the Udon Carbonara as well and tbh I was not expecting it to be that amazing!!! Menu is definitely on the more expensive side especially considering portion sizes but no regrets here.

I ordered the Vegan Ramen, and...oof. I have a health condition that sadly doesn't let me eat spicy food anymore because it gives me acid reflux. I chose mild, and the ramen came with a bunch of mashed up chillies. I removed most of them, but there were still remnants throughout the soup, so I couldn't finish eating it.
As for everything else, they were a huge disappointment. I ate at this restaurant years ago, after living in Vancouver and getting spoiled there, and I didn't like it. I wanted to try it again, thinking that maybe the restaurant would've improved their recipe by now. But nope. The broth is just veggie broth. There's nothing Japanese about it. No miso, no kombu dashi, no shoyu. It's just so plain. The spiciness covers it up, but then all you're tasting is spice. I had to add the liquid from the ajitsuke tamago I made, which helped, but didn't save it. The noodles were good, as was the aburaage (not inari btw. That's sushi. You need to fix this on the menu) but all the other toppings were unseasoned. And the nori came soggy because of the steam (it should be packaged separately)
I won't be eating anything from this restaurant again.
