Love the freshness, consistency and authentic flavor of their dishes. This place is a family favorite and we've always been satisfied. Meals are large portions and we enjoy sharing and trying different dishes on the menu. Give them a try and you will not be dissappointed. Order ahead when possible as food is prepared when ordered which may take a few extra minutes but it's well worth the wait. The items selected are those we've tried on various visits... Enjoy!

I ordered the Griot (Fried Pork) and it was amazing. You can immediately taste that the food was made to order and fresh. The portion size was extremely fulfilling. The meat was not overcooked, the red beans and rice was well seasoned. I would definitely order again.

I love Lakou! If like Haitian food or want to try this is the place. I got the Griot (Fried Pork) and it was delicious. The portions were generous, the pork was well seasoned and not dry, and the black rice was yummy. The food wasn't spicy but it came with pikliz to spice it up if you desire.

It's the ONLY restaurant I've EVER supported where EVERYTHING I order is good. I've tried almost everything on the menu. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to flavor. A lot of restaurants confuse flavor with saltiness, but not Rasin. The portions are fair, the food is always fresh and hot. I think today sealed the deal after having the red snapper. This is officially my favorite restaurant. Family owned and their energy is always amazing as well so that's a bonus. Who wants to digest food cooked with bad energy? Not me. 10/10
