This Chicken Rollatini was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The risotto pairs perfectly with the tender chicken. Highly recommend!

salads wer VERY FRESH ....Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and Penne Pomodoro were superb!!! La Nona a yummy original you won't find just anywhere.

What a surprise! They actually have great pizza and chicken parm and pastas, after trying dozens of Italian restaurants and pizza places in Houston so glad we have found Ray's. The sauce and the cheese is very good and reminds us of back home in the north east.
The plain cheese pizza is a must. We get it with extra sauce and it was on point. Many places have poor sauce and cheese but Ray's is spot on.
The Alfredo pasta was another surprise, it was actually very good. We can't tell you how many times we have ordered Alfredo from other places and it often has little to no taste or flavor, but Ray's is actually quite good. Next time we order we want to try it on pizza and we read several reviews recommending it.
The chicken parm though was the star of the show for me. I have ordered from so many Italian restaurants in Houston searching for a decent chicken parm and it's unbelievable how hard it is to find a good one, which is strange because it's one of the easier Italian dishes to make but it's all about using the proper technique and quality ingredients. So many reviews for other places claiming good chicken parm were honestly embarrassingly poor and have no idea where those ratings are coming from. Rays chicken parm platter is excellent, probably the best one we have had so far. Tender chicken not dry or rubbery with the perfect sauce and "mootz" on top.
We also tried their meatball calzone and it was terrific. The ricotta and melted mozzarella inside was actually seasoned and the outside of the calzone had so much flavor one of the best calzones in Houston.
Overall Ray's is one of the best Italian restaurants and pizza places in Houston and we give them a 9/10 in our top 3 for Italian/pizza. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to trying some of their other pies and dishes and hoping they are consistent with their quality.

We ordered our chicken Parmesan and when we got it, it was very dry. The chicken was not cooked. The chicken was dry. Also very disappointed and that meal with this restaurant I expected better than we ordered our small child a spaghetti and they could hardly put enough spaghetti in the container for $10 plus the chicken was too thick

I was very happy with my orders of Chicken Marsala and Antipasto Salad . Both were delicious and each had a fair amount of food!
