I ordered not realizing it was coming from Palmyra , but I'm glad I did .. this took me back to then family cookouts. The fish was on point an the sides don't play, and that blt is good, only thing to add I have personal preference of my Texas toast being little bit more firm but the Texas toast was great still. And o the portion size are more than fair an worth the money.

This was my first experience with the restaurant; I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.
1. Kids Chicken Tenders - This was a good meal for my son. The chicken and mac and cheese side seemed to be something he very much enjoyed - and for what you receive, it was actually a good value for a high quality product.
2. Brisket Platter - My first issue is the manner in which you are paying extra for the sides when the term "platter" is universally suggestive it comes with sides. So what is originally a $20 item will quickly become a $26 item. The second issue was the brisket itself. The brisket was dry and kept crumbling in my mouth which was an indication that it was overcooked.
2b. The first side I want to discuss is the potato salad. It is described as a "creamy potato salad with fresh herbs and a tangy mustard dressing." It tasted like it was mixed with sour cream with an excessive amount of herbs that made it terribly bitter. I do not recommend this item.
2c. The corn bread. I think they used way too much baking powder, as it had this bitter, chalky flavor to it. It was not moist or had any consistency of any normal corn bread.
Fortunately, the meal for my son was the saving grace - however, that alone is not enough to warrant a thumbs up - especially for the premium prices.

Took 1 1/2 hours to get our order from a place that is literally 6 blocks from our house. I have ordered food from Hannibal and it is here within 30 minutes and still warm.
Then when we finally got it the chicken strips were so tough I couldn't chew them.
