Ridge Donut never disappoints! There donuts are always fresh, enormous, delicious and they have by far the widest variety in town. Do I have to drive a little farther to get there? Yes! But it is worth it every time! The friendly staff make all the difference too! Thanks Ridge Donut; for being a staple in our household!

Ridge Donut Cafe is easily one of my favorite local donut shops in Rochester, honestly one of my favorites in New York State. There’s a reason this place has such a loyal following.
The glazed donuts are my go-to every single time. They hit that sweet spot between light and satisfying, with a soft, airy interior, just enough chew, and a thin glaze that gives you that slightly crackly sugar finish without making the donut overly sweet. When they’re fresh, that first bite is exactly what a classic glazed donut should be.
I also love the consistency here. So many donut shops can be great one day and completely different the next, but Ridge has repeatedly delivered the kind of quality that keeps me coming back. The donuts taste like they came from a true neighborhood bakery, not like something mass-produced and sitting around waiting for an order.
The size of the donuts are hugeee. Even with a mixed half-dozen, the glazed are usually the ones I’m reaching for first. Simple donuts leave nowhere to hide, and Ridge absolutely nails the basics.
If you’re in Rochester and haven’t tried Ridge Donut Cafe yet, you’re missing one of the city’s true donut staples.
10/10 for me. The glazed donuts alone keep this place firmly in my regular rotation.

Ridge donuts has the best donuts but I have been disappointed with the selection. This store allows special instructions that they don't follow and don't seem to know the names of some of their own donuts. Chocolate cake is not Chocolate frosted fry cake...and no( as a long time customer, I know better) I did not order at peak/rush time. For 25.00, I would expect a simple service. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant. If you are not " a donut is a donut" kind of person, you might want to skip ordering online and go in person before 9am.

Never disappointed with Ridge Donuts!! Can't say I have a favorite because they are all sooooo good, but the cannoli donuts!!! Delish :)
